Microsoft Lumia 535 OTA update to resolve touchscreen issues now available





Microsoft acknowledged touchscreen issues with the Lumia 535 last week and promised an OTA update to fix the issue by December 27th. It seems that the folks over at Redmond were working overtime to fix the newly minted handset and the fix is now available as an OTA update in several regions which at present does not include India.

According to the official changelog it will update your phone to Windows Phone version 8.10.14219.341 and build 02054.00000.14485.370xx bringing with it fix for the touchscreen issues, Cortana support for more countries, action center toggle for mobile data and scheduling software updates. There are some stability and performance improvements in tow as well.

Confirmed: Nokia N1 Android tablet to launch in China on January 7

Just a few days after there were  reports  that Nokia could launch its first Android tablet, the N1, in China on January 7, the company’s social networking channels have confirmed the news. As clear from the image shown above, Nokia is running a contest in the Asian country where participants stand a chance to win 800 tickets and six VIP passes for the Finland-based company’s media event on January 7.
