The Asus Pegasus X002 could well be the next hot selling smartphone in India, i.e. if the handset is launched and priced right. Pegasus X002 was recently launched in China for 799 Yuan that comes to approx Rs. 8,100.

It is a dual SIM handset using the MediaTek (ARM Cortex-A53) MT6732 64Bit quad core processorclocked at 1.5GHz. Key highlight is 64Bit SOC with 4G support and 2GB RAM. The Asus Pegasus X002 sails on Android 4.4.x with Zen UI. This Pegasus handset sports a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. A 5MP camera is on the front and an 8MP auto focus camera on the rear with LED flash. The handset design is the same as seen on the Asus Zenfone series.
